I am an Afro-Rican/ Afro-Boriqua CIS woman of color. I was born and raised in the east bay. Prior to my MA/AMFT, I worked as a counselor at various non profit orgs doing self empowerment and intersectionality work with women of color, as well as LGBTQAAI+ youth. I currently work with clients with intersectional identities, family systems, and complex trauma work. Modalities utilized tend to be Relational Narrative Therapy from a social justice decolonize/ perspective. I often do workshops and lectures on intersectional identities and intergenerational trauma. I am hopeful in joining this community that I can be of service to lower income POC looking for a safe container in the therapy world.
