Spotlight On: A twice monthly series featuring our members!

Let us introduce to you Eric FitzMedrud, Ph.D.
Hi, I’m Eric FitzMedrud, Ph.D. (PSY23669). I’m a clinician in private practice in Los Altos. The focus of my practice is relationship and sexual issues. I am highly skilled at perceiving the emotional and relational patterns beneath relationship conflicts and sexual challenges. I work with individuals, couples, and polycules to help people create the relationships they want, find the pleasure they desire, and to become the partner they want to be.
My psychotherapy practices welcomes and serves:
  • Kinky, open and poly clients as well as those practicing other creative consensual sexual and relationship styles. It is just fine if the kink or poly issue isn’t the focus of treatment.
  • People struggling with out-of-control sexual behaviors.
  • People considering opening or needing to renegotiate their relationship agreements.
  • Gay, Lesbian, and Trans-inclusive couples.
I am a sex-positive, consent affirming clinician. I am a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists and I attend their conference yearly to stay up on the latest research, client issues, and treatments.
In addition to serving clients with sexual diversities, I am committed to giving back to people of color because my life has been enriched by mentors or color in many ways.
I’m also available for consultations, training, and guest lecturing.
