I work with "doers" in high-demand fields who find themselves in a professional identity of power, leadership, and privilege; who simultaneously hold identities that are underserved, underrepresented, and/or stigmatized.
Clients I work well with often say their professional path is bright, but tend to feel lonely or "on the outside" of their own life; they often doubt themselves and feel held back and frustrated by intrusive thoughts and memories.
I have specialized in working with Relationships, Self-Esteem/Intrusive Thoughts, Anxiety, Burnout/Stress, Sex, Intimacy, and Vulnerability since the beginning of my career. Helping my clients feel more grounded and confident in themselves, as well as develop deeper, more meaningful and loving relationships is a joy.
A unique, additional area of support I offer is helping parent(s) or caregiver(s) feel confident and empowered in discussing sex and intimacy with their children from an inclusive, affirming, sex positive place - that also makes room for and respects your family's unique social, cultural, and religious values. My experience working with couples, adolescents (13yo-18yo), and in the specialized area of Sex Therapy has enabled me to work with parent(s) and caregiver(s) so they can have a space to unpack their own sexual values and biases, and have conversations early and often that they are proud of and uses language that helps their children feel loved and safe in their identities, as well as be affirming of people's identities that they themselves may not not posses.
I am based in San Francisco and offer both in-person and Telehealth sessions. If you are seeking a therapist who is, warm, engaging, a LGBTQIA+ ally, sex positive, social justice minded, poly/ kink affirming, and has experience working with high-achievers, let's connect. Schedule a FREE 20 minute phone consultation with me on my website.
