  • My approach is warm, grounded, relational, and interactive. I honor your complexity and will hold all of your story with respect and deep care. I work in an integrative manner, meeting you where you are and at your specific needs. I will always check in with you if the work we are doing is resonating with you. I aim to be present and responsive to you. We will check in with how you’re feeling in your body often, or explore what it means that you don’t feel present there. We will take into account how your early relationships may have shaped your understanding of the world and of yourself. We will look at the impact of larger institutions and systems on your understanding of yourself and your place in the world. We will draw on the beautiful, powerful internal resources you already have (they got you got where you are today after all). We will draw out your strong internal voice and inner wisdom, allowing you to move forward with greater connection to your body, a deeper understanding of your roots, of who you are, and what you need and want.

And honestly, therapy can be an awkward, challenging, vulnerable, terrifying undertaking. I’m very sensitive to that. We will work at the pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your own experience. It is an honor for me to be invited on a fellow human’s path of healing and to hold for them a space of non-judgement, safety, honesty, and unconditional kindness. I’m there with you to witness your story, to reflect your strengths to you, be curious about all your complex layers with you and at times, challenge you with a new perspective to reflect on.
