"Allow yourself to become intimately connected with all your parts. In connecting with ourselves, we can form connections with others." -Virginia Satir
You deserve to feel love and belonging, to be accepted exactly as you are. As your therapist, I will invite you into a deeper and more rewarding relationship with yourself, and make space for the person you are growing into, with compassion, warmth, and gentle curiosity.
With a spirit of play and creativity, I encourage you to engage your sense of wonder, so we can identify and build on your unique strengths. Words can be hard to access at times, so we may also use arts, sandtray, writing, ritual, and body awareness, as we explore what it means to be you.
Looking for relationship counseling with your partner(s)? I will help you learn to slow down and LISTEN to each other with curiosity, respect, and a willingness to be surprised. With partners in all kinds of relationships, I support you to communicate more effectively, and see the best in one another.
Using a culturally sensitive lens, I love working with individuals of all ethnic, racial, and spiritual backgrounds, along the gender and sexuality spectrum, from teens to elders. I am poly- and BDSM- knowledgeable, and sex worker friendly. I work particularly well with creative folks, helpers, and outliers who have tried therapy but didn’t feel like their therapist “got” them. I am experienced working with folks around sexuality and intimacy, identity, sex workers and their partners, anxiety, aging, depression, ADHD, grief, shame and developing self compassion.
