Being warm, caring, empathetic, and helpful is a core part of being a therapist, so I won't emphasize those qualities here. Here are some of what I consider to be my more unique clinical facets:
*Nonjudgmental even when not neutral
*High energy, whimsical, and mirthful
*Skilled at verbally describing internal decision-making and emotional processes, often with terrible yet effective metaphors
*Excellent pattern recognition and analytical skills
Each individual comes to therapy with their own goals in mind and I'm here to work on whatever you feel would most benefit you. I'll work collaboratively with you to determine a path of treatment that makes sense for where you're at. My primary areas of clinical focus are polyamory, chronic depression, and suicidality.
I work with a variety of adults from a variety of backgrounds. I won't judge you for consensual expressions of your identity and sexuality. I'd especially like to welcome to my practice people who have historically been left out of therapeutic healing due to systemic forces, including LGBTQIA2-S people, sex workers, and people in nontraditional intimate partnerships.
I work with adults and partners.
